Hello! I’m a 30-year-old graduated architect and artist from the Republic of Moldova, or how in The Netherlands you call it “Moldavië”. My big passions in life are architecture and art. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, and I started to develop it further during my university years. I attended two art schools in my home city in Moldova. Then I moved to Chisinau where I did my masters in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technical University of Moldova. This is where I kept developing my architectural and artistic skills, which I am continuing nowadays.
Architecture or art? During past years I questioned immensely whether I should focus on one field or another. In the end, I concluded that it wouldn’t be fair to me to give up on any. Merging both my passions into my profession is bringing me a lot of joy and peace with myself. I want to create buildings that are socially relevant for people and kind to the environment. And I want to draw and paint, nothing wrong with it, right?
Architecture is my social responsibility, art is my therapy. This is how I view it. Art is helping me to escape and deal with our world’s fast-growing events and problems.
